The Table — Part I
Let’s Get the Party Started is the first chapter of The Table, a new body of work exploring the theatre of gathering, celebration and connection. Champagne, caviar, oysters and lobster become symbols of the rituals that bring us together, while checkerboards twist and unravel as the evening shifts from something composed into something looser, louder and wonderfully unpredictable. These paintings are less about what sits on the table and more about everything that happens around it: conversations overlapping, lunches becoming parties, and the moments when elegance gives way to spontaneity. Part I marks the beginning of this story, with the collection continuing to evolve as new works and new chapters of The Table unfold.
