O’RegaN’s x Pop & Toast

In March 2024 O’Regan’s Restaurant and Bar launched at DXB Airport, terminal 3. A very unique Irish concept, first of it’s kind - which was built on the concept to celebrate the life of Brendan O’Regan. And to provide the best of Irish produce to people travelling in and out of the UAE.

He was an Irish businessman responsible for developing Shannon Airport, inventing the concept of the duty-free shop and transforming the Shannon Region of Ireland. He was involved in promoting peace in Northern Ireland. And has been described as one of Ireland's "most noted peace ambassadors and initiators of commercial and industrial projects". In a tribute to him, President Mary McAleese said that O'Regan was "a true visionary" and "leaves a legacy that permeates throughout all levels of economic, social and cultural life in Ireland." - The Story of Dr Brendan O’Regan

Pop and Toast was commissioned to do the artwork for the interiors of the restaurant, in particular was commissioned to do a portrait of O’Regan, which people see on entering the restaurant at terminal 3. All paintings created for this brand were Irish home grown brands, such as Jawbox gin, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Bushmills, and Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin.
